Meet our doctors

Dr. Alexandria Lui received her Bachelor’s degree from Western University in London, Ontario with a major in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Psychology. During her time there, she assisted in research activities at the Ivey Eye Institute and the Brain and Mind Institute. She then completed her studies at the Indiana University School of Optometry (IUSO), graduating with a Doctor of Optometry degree in 2018 as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Upon graduation, she was selected by the contact lens faculty to be awarded the GP Contact Lens Clinical Excellence Award that is presented to one graduate at each optometry school for demonstrating outstanding performance in GP contact lens fitting.

After completing her doctorate, Dr. Lui elected to remain at IUSO to further her education with a Cornea and Contact Lens Residency. During this time, she had the opportunity to co-author an article for the Contact Lens Spectrum and travel to Lourdes, El Salvador to provide eye care services to the underprivileged. She was also selected to present posters at the 2018 American Academy of Optometry and the 2019 Global Specialty Lens Symposium meetings. In 2019, she was a recipient of the George W. Mertz Contact Lens Residency award which is presented to two optometric residents within North America who demonstrate a commitment to excellence in clinical practice, research and education. 

Dr. Lui has been fortunate enough to work closely with ophthalmologists at surgery centres in the US during her education and after completing her residency. She provided pre- and post- operative care for patients receiving cataract surgery, refractive eye surgery, laser procedures and eyelid procedures and has extensive experience diagnosing and managing ocular diseases. In addition, she has a particular interest in helping patients with Keratoconus and other corneal diseases that may benefit from medically necessary contact lenses to optimize vision.
